This Burn’s Crystal Dram is the ideal nosing glass for both the critical analysis and leisurely enjoyment of American whiskey. Its squat tulip shape allows a spirit’s aromas and vapors to be funneled to mouth of the glass for an intense bouquet. Ethanol vapor can dissipate more efficiently in the shallow glass, allowing the imbiber to nose the true character of their spirit of choice and without contending with a potent olfactory burn. This style of nosing glass is often called a ‘Canadian Glencairn’ but this glass is handcrafted by Burns Crystal in the Scotland and features the same diameter opening as a standard Glencairn, but without a foot, a shorter flute, and with a wider bowl to allow for ease of swirling.
